Members may cancel or pause their membership at any time in your subscription settings (found in the Member Dashboard). 

Once your membership is inactive, you will no longer be able to use your credits. Be sure to download any files purchased before cancelling. 

When you join the Social Studies Teacher Society, you will receive four credits each month. 

This credit will come to you via email as a discount code (for 100% off). 

Go to the store linked in your Member Dashboard and enter the discount code during checkout. 

You may use your credits at any time, as they do not expire as long as you are an active member. Each credit may only be used once. 

These things happen! Don’t worry though, you can sign up again any time.

If you pay by credit card and you know that your card details have changed then you can go to your account page select the Subscriptions tab and you should see a link to ‘Update Billing Details’. Once you change your card details your payment will be processed immediately. 

If you pay by PayPal please ensure that there are adequate funds in your account so that payment will go through when payment is tried again. Unfortunately there is no way to change when PayPal will attempt to take payments, or to push the payment through earlier.

Payment will automatically be tried again by our payment processors 4-5 days after a failed payment, but you will lose access to your membership account until payment is successful. 

If your subscription is cancelled due to failed payments, you will need to sign up with a new subscription if you would like to regain access to the Social Studies Teacher Society. Former members can sign up at ANY time (even when the membership is closed) by filling out the form below.

Your purchased resource will be delivered via email. If you do not receive this in your inbox within 15 minutes, check your Spam or promotions folders. 

You will also have access in your Member Dashboard. The bottom section, titled “My Account,” has a “Downloads” button in the left sidebar where your purchases will be located. Please allow at least 30 minutes for this to update. 

If you do not receive an email with the link, and it is not in your Downloads in your Member Dashboard, please contact us by using the form below. 

No, but you will lose access to your Member Dashboard. Before you cancel, be sure to DOWNLOAD all of your purchases to keep access. 

Also, be sure to spend all of your unused credits before cancelling your membership. You will not be able to use the credits if you are not an active member. 

No. Each membership is for individual educators. 

School and district accounts are available.
