This resource includes four activity pages and their answer keys. The passage is written at a 6th grade reading level and is accompanied with eight multiple choice prompts, one graphic organizer, one short response, and one extended response question with a text-based sentence starters.
The objective of this activity is for students to be able to explain citizen participation in autocratic and democratic governments. [i.e., role of citizens in choosing the leaders of the United Kingdom (parliamentary democracy), Germany (parliamentary democracy), and Russia (presidential democracy)].

What is the Lexile level of your reading passages?
Since Lexile is trademarked, I am unable to label them as Lexile levels. However, I have used the free Lexile analyzer and I stay within the recommended grade level range. If there is a specific reading packet that you need details for, please contact me directly and I’ll give you a more specific range.
